But I don't get the removal of the die size increase since another similar weapon master feat gives you a bonus to what you can do with a specific weapon. I get the removal of the last bullet for unarmed master because it can give a free flurry of blows or make flurry of blows give 3 punches instead of two when getting a crit from the attack action. It would have given a free flurry of blows if it crits during the attack action or makes 3 punches if the ki point was spent. You can choose to raise either your strength, dexterity, or constitution by 1 to a maximum of 20Įdit: remove the part in unarmed master that gave an extra bonus action unarmed strike from a crit during the attack action. If you have a previous feat that also raised unarmed damage die, your unarmed strike will be one die size bigger. Your unarmed strike grows into a 1d4 weapon. You can dual wield with your unarmed strikes, but you can’t add your modifier to the damage of the bonus action strike unless you have the two-weapon fighting style or martial arts. When you make an unarmed attack it is also considered to be an attack with a weapon. As long as you are not incapacitated, your hands, feet, knees, elbows, and head are considered to be melee weapons with the finesse and light properties and are considered to be worth at least 1sp. If you have another ability that changes the die size of your unarmed strikes, this feature modifies the new die size. Your unarmed attacks damage increases one die step on the following list: 1 -> 1d4 -> 1d6 -> 1d8 -> 1d10 -> 1d12.Before you make a melee attack with an unarmed strike or natural weapon, you can choose to take a minus 5 penalty, and on a hit, you deal an additional 10 damage. For more information about Wizards of the Coast or any of Wizards' trademarks or other intellectual property, please visit their website at Unarmed fighting Master For example, Dungeons & Dragons® is a trademark of Wizards of the Coast.
